Wild Green Discus Collection: These are  in a 75 Gallon tank, No substrate, Malaysian Driftwood, artificial  silk plant to mimic submerged  forest  leaves  of the Amazon River system. Filtration is  2 aquaclear model  110 hang on the  tank filters....Water  parameters  400us medium hard  well water, temp 84F. Foods include Hikari Frozen Blood worms, Frozen and  freeze  dried Brine shrimp, Beefheart and seafood mix,assorted  pellets and  live earth worms.

Heckel Tank Display:  This is a  125 Gallon  tank that  adorns  my  living  room. It has  3  aquaclear  hang on the tank Filters, model #110... The tank  has  multiple  pieces  of  malaysian driftwood  in  it and a  sand  substrate (Natural colored silica  pool filter sand).  There  are  currently 21 heckels  ranging  from juveniles to adults in this tank. The lighting is generally subdued room  lighting most  of the time, but there  is a  40 watt  bulb in the  light hood. Food  fed  consists largely of Hikari Frozen Blood worms, frozen and freeze  dried brine shrimp, assorted  pelleted  feeds and  flakes, infreqently these  heckels will  receive homemade seafood mixes as well.
