CTDiscus is owned  by  Al Sabetta.  Al is  known as  Brewmaster15 on his  Discus Forum, SimplyDiscus.com  where  he and his  Partner Ryan run a free informational Site  on Discus.. Al's Friends  call him Brew and will  bear witness  that  he is a hopelessly addicted  Discus Fish Hobbyist,Collector, and  Breeder.

CTDiscus  is the result  of years  of  trial and error in raising Discus and  is not a large volume  commercial  hatchery...Its  a Hobby Hatchery and a  labor of  Love for this hobby and this  Flat Fish we  fondly call the  King of the Aquarium Fish.

Here at CTDiscus, we raise Discus, breed them, collect them and often sell them. We  work with quality healthy stock from  Domestic and Wild Lines.  Any Fish we  do  have  for sale  are listed  on this Website here..

CTDiscus.com is  run by a  real person, like  you...  I have  a  family, friends, obligations, and many  hobbies  outside  of  Discus. I'll do my best  to help you  in this  hobby  but please  do understand this if  you have trouble  reaching me.


In addition to  Discus, I am a  biologist, advanced  Hobby Photographer, Reptile  breeder and  homebrewer of Ales and Meads.

The main focus of CTDiscus is to build upon a breeding program where health and quality of the Discus is stressed...Inbreeding Lines too much causes genetic weakness so this is watched for carefully in any stock we breed or  acquire. Any stock we purchase is quarantined for a period of 6 weeks before introduction to our hatchery is even considered.
